I really wasn’t into spending $400 on a slipcover for an 8 year old sofa that we may just decide to replace any day now anyway.. That just didn’t quite work out.I had to give it up after a couple of weeks because it was just looking terrible.
If you ask Chris about that time in our life he’ll tell you it was “The worst two weeks of my life.” That may be a little dramatic, but it still wasn’t working for us..Somehow the fact that a new, crisp white slipcover from Ikea is only $100 had escaped me during all this time.I was under the impression that it was going to be hundreds of dollars.. Silly rabbit!.
Nothing spectacular, but it’s fresh and white and clean and didn’t cost an arm and a leg.Best of all, it’s the same old sofa we know and love and we get to love it for just a little longer now.. Of course, this is how it looks most of the time now:.
